I really liked Deathwatch. The length was just right, Kate and Murphy's passion took form and increased to sexual tension at a believable rate, and the ending was left open enough to let me (the reader) give it a conclusion. The author mentioned that Kate and Murphy will appear in her future work, but until then I have my own ending :)
What I loved the most though, was the writing. It was well balanced between sharing the main characters' backgrounds and the here-and-now action. No wasted words, no repeated narrative, and definitely no self pity.
Angela
barely survived an abusive marriage and didn't mourn the death of her husband
in a drug deal gone bad. But can she survive losing her heart to the handsome
detective who thinks she's a criminal? Jake soon discovers the beautiful widow
is not what she seems. As his distrust of her ebbs, his desire to possess her
grows.
Passions
soon collide when he's entrusted with her safety after she's targeted by an
unknown enemy. Now it's up to him to keep both her and their chance at
happiness alive.
"...It is definitely a fun and imaginative read! I kept questioning myself if things were as they seem, and each turn of the page brought another surprise."

Not my life, but the book trailer that kept me away from blogging for sometime. To be fair, Intricate Entanglement is not the only culprit. I’ve been busy writing and designing other projects. So, there you have it…I’ve been in front of the computer for so long that part of the chair’s leather is now attached to my glorious behind.
So, about Intricate Entanglement: Damnation Books contracted it with a release date of March 1st, 2011. This is exciting because this story IS complicated. It takes place in a mental asylum for the criminally insane, and you get a royal tour of some of the sick minds that reside there. 7 stories in total, if you don’t count the eighth one, the mega one, the mama that connects them all together.
Here’s a bit about the book:

And here’s the updated/modified/revamped trailer. Since I design book trailers for myself and others, I did it again--> I went to that special place, a soft ethereal cloud like, where I go when creativity hits me. :-D
